Design Point of View

Ann Borrelli Smith is passionate about design, architecture, art and traveling. Her creative passion was first embraced as a child while watching her mother paint and draw. Creativity continued to be fostered over the years through various art courses, exposure to museums and travel.

Early in her career, Ann initially worked at a residential firm and then an architectural firm. While there she gained extensive knowledge in design and the commercial industry. Her portfolio expanded with projects in education, office and religious buildings, but she knew she wanted to explore a more creative design field in hospitality. That is where she found herself as in-house designer for a Vacation Ownership company. Eventually, the next step was to venture out on her own and establish DPOVinteriors.

Both her experience and her drive to stay inspired with modern ideas, allows her to approach design with an innovative and open mind. Every project is cultivated as bespoke and one-of-a-kind, reflective of the region. Approaching design in this manner provides the ability for the team to continue to create award winning signature projects.
